Much of my time

Friendly or neighborly, quiet or brisk, walks give us a different perspective. There is always so much to learn as we step boldly around and about.

We skirt obstacles we never thought would be important. We are greeted by fresh vistas.

Walking is an exploration. Each time we uncover a new path or a place we had not noticed on our last trip.

Every walk is a revelation.

Why, where and withal

Construction sites are as common in my neighborhood as potholes after a rough winter.

There’s nothing quite like a crisp clear sky.

The block, 73rd between 2nd and 3rd, is a short history on both sides of the street.
There’s an Alice in Wonderland feel to this little teeny door.
A mysterious and intriguing message.
A bright shiny awning makes an old haunt shiny and new.
A bedroom set setup at curbside.

What makes a cheeseburger kosher? Plant based meat will do it. Having it both ways!

Some eateries that decorate parts of 2nd Avenue are en route. That is en my route.
