Some “Places” of New York

Sutton Place is so grand it has a South extension to its regular road. Beekman Place has quiet dignity and a hidden charm.

Of course, technically, Sutton Place is just a continuation of York Avenue. The whole length of their combined dominance goes from 53rd to 91st, a 4 mile run. To the East from 79th to its end is the charmingly quiet East End Avenue.
