Is there a good reason to bring extinct creatures back to walk amongst us?
Isn’t their demise part of the cycle of life?
Will a wooly mammoth contribute a positive energy to the eco-system?
The long-term goal is to create a living, walking elephant-mammoth hybrid that would be visually indistinguishable from its extinct forerunner and — if released into its natural habitat in sufficient numbers — could potentially help restore the fragile Arctic tundra ecosystem.

The goal appears to be to combat adverse outcomes brought about by global warming. 🤔 As you can tell, I am of mixed mind; they weren’t here for so long, how will they adapt to the terrain. They aren’t a natural product either, but a GMO mammal.
