Hitting the skies, aiming
For clouds. Ambitious
Teetering into the blue
Or on this morning, the
Grey. This has always
Been the future. Upward
Towering over the little
5-storey and even way
Above your 15th floor
Condominium, claiming
Its place. Not just holding
Its ground, but piercing
The sky. Ever higher and
Bigger. Is it better, or am
I just too conservative?

Cranes in the sky
Construction gives the city its feel of vibrant impermanence.
There is something new to anticipate all the time.
