Gardening season

City gardening enthusiasts volunteer in the parks, Carl Schurz and Central, and the various community gardens in neighborhoods.

[Aside: note that the immigrant political leader was a Republican and voice for democracy. Yes, they can. They just choose not to.]

Gardening voyeurs, such as I, get to watch the trowls at work.

So here I am walking…

I have no pictures for you but a couple of anecdotes from this morning.

Generally, UPS and FedEx employ friendly and polite drivers.

Not this guy.

While aggressively pushing his cart of deliveries behind a man walking along, this FedEx miscreant was shouting “Muévelo” as if the road were his alone.

A man passed me wearing a t shirt emblazoned Brooklyn Seltzer Museum. I am a huge fan of Hal’s. Wonder if that qualifies an exhibit.

Burt has told me of the magical seltzer deliveries his mother orchestrated. His favorite was the strawberry syrup.

We should reference the Barbershop Museum to this sighting. So I will.
