I love the blue-purple cladding they’re using for construction these days.

Building a city is a big project, and this one never seems to finish. Down with the old. Up with the new.

Then there’s all the fixing! My my. Maintenance just to keep everything standing.

Magyar Haz is up the block from the Psychoanalytic Institute.

I am not sure I see any significance in that fact.

It’s such a beautiful day. It deserves documenting.

What’s all the hubbub?

Big Brother was once just scary science fiction. Now he’s monitoring the speed at which you took that corner.

Intruding your sounds on others is denying their right to quiet. If people were respectful of others, we would not need all the bylaws and equipment to keep people “in line.”

Yes. It is a public safety issue. As is the new noise camera. This one is meant to deter excessive noise pollution on our city streets.

Very noble goals that erode our privacy. You might say that those who don’t keep their speed to a limit or avoid disturbing their neighbors need to be kept in check for the common good.

You would be right, but right doesn’t mean we aren’t trodding on another’s rights.

It’s a thorny debate.
