Well, sort of… but I was amused.

I know. I know. I say this all the time. Like the kid who cried wolf. You are not sure if you should believe me.
This Kimbo coffee ☕️ from Italy (specifically Naples) is the best. I am enjoying it as a straight drip cup so I cannot speak to the latte or other espresso versions.
I am at Claire’s on York near 73rd. Come, grab a sip.
Every October, I eschew the holiday that’s coming our way. I vow not to pay attention to the goblins and ghosts, the witches, and Spidermans. Yet, here they are. Boo!

In other closings news, The Meat Ball Shop on 76-77 and 2nd Avenue is no more. This “mail stop” removed itself from 1st Avenue (thus technically forfeiting its name) several years back. It was never customer friendly so I am surprised it lasted this long.
Do not go by my judgment. When this joint opened, with its games and eats, then drinks and games, I questioned its business model. Still standing and expanding!

There is a building close by which adds a glamor to the neighborhood.
It’s angular and furnished with full frontal balconies, which double as fire escapes. Its stucco covering gives it a sunshiny elegance.

It took will power.
I walked down the whole block without snapping a single shot.

Glass bricks are a great concept. You see light through them, and your privacy on the other side of the wall is still protected.
This wall of glass is at the back end of a “secret” garage on 78th Street.
