Walk with me, but never in the shadow of T-Rex or Spinosaurus. Avoid the beasts of yore.
That is until you get to CPW and 81st to visit their simulations at the world renowned (AMNH) American Museum of Natural History.









Or perhaps it’s door fronts? Nah.



I admire the moxie when a little coffee bar sets up shop across from a Starbucks. This one uses a simple lure with the plainest of names. It calls itself Coffee. Ha! [Just “meh,” btw.]
My coffee trail reviews always stray away from the big chain. I’ve had to have a small change of heart recently.
It all started when my gorgeous friend D gave us gift cards. Her note said, “Enjoy something sweet or savory….”
Savory generally gets my attention, so I walked into my local. Their brekkie Impossible sandwich has become a habit. It’s often washed down with a shaken espresso. The air conditioning is great.
My friend J joins in. We savor the atmosphere of the business model where stay all day is a likely outcome for many patrons.



West side ambiance is different. I know I have said it before. But still, it’s true.



What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?





Little details everywhere make me smile. That’s good for my health.

What’s your favorite game (card, board, video, etc.)? Why?

What foods would you like to make?
Uptown, it’s soul food and arroz con habichuelas.
To the west, it’s burgers and fries and squid appetizers.
The UES has attracted a Brooklyn Dumpling Shop to compete with Vanessa’s.
Midtown, it’s salads and soup or grilled cheese on rye.
Chelsea is gonna prove more haute and head to the Village for eclectic.
We can still find brisket or lox on the Lower East Side when we’re not getting full-on Italian fare.
