It’s a Westside counterpart to the Aerie from my nabe.

There is so much going on in this little piece of skyline!
It’s a kindness allowing the big glass tower to piggyback on the white brick structure.
You can bet that air rights were sold and bought, not only from the corner building but also from the one upon which the tower is perched. In fact, it’s possible that the tall building to its south also benefited from a transfer of air rights.

Very often, I cannot pinpoint what it is that attracts me to a specific view. Or views.
Yet, clearly, something does.

The West Village twists and has uneven corners, lower skylines, different boundaries.
Crowded. Noisy. Fun.
A playground for youth.
They’ve preserved the triangular corner and signage but it’s a coffee bar now. Although today when I wanted an espresso, their machine was broken.

Christopher Street houses the pizza emporium l’industrie. It spills out west to show off other eateries and stores.

Art in subways is a refreshing sign of cultivation.
