For an opinionated woman such as I, blogging is an excellent outlet. This is one of many fori that I use to bloviate. Enjoy! Comment on my commentary.

Top this!

Up high or up low, the roofs and top floors are worth a look. Just also watch where you step.

Interesting & eye-catching

This facade is a treat to view
Even wind blown & rain strewn tulips are pretty. Above a license plate applauding a climate decision.

Taller addendum

Going up! Outside my bedroom window

Rising above seems to be the plan for many NYC construction projects.

Directly above, a crane towers over the New York Public Library from a block away.

Detailed

Note the angle at which this tree grows. [Picture #7]. The frogged up decoration is just weird. [I feel]

Can these pictures tell a story?

Or must I elaborate? Tell you where and when? Add details that will connect the pieces and the places?

Mixed media

New York City provides an array of building styles spanning our long history. It leads the way to photo ops that can highlight what was or what is or now and then together.

The birdhouse project

If I were a serious journalist, I would march into the storefront, where I saw these stored and investigate.

Instead, I speculate. And photograph.

Located on 81st between York and 1st, but with outposts on other neighboring blocks, this is clearly an ongoing endeavor.

A couple of days

Something about 222 E 86th: an air of grandeur and abandonment
Summer-like weather makes all our destinations shine
Otherworldly sights or sites? Today, summer has taken a turn. Colder with a touch of sun for a tease.
The sunshine gave these tulips a surreal air as if they were paper replicas.

Performance painting

This is a thing. Josh Groban featured a fellow named David Garibaldi. WCM used Dan Dunn in a reveal that made the luncheon in honor of their new dorm so very exciting.

Dan Dunn has been seen on late night TV as well as a featured performer at events.
