Grubbs has been teasing us with opening for a very long time. It won’t happen until they change that sign from York Avenue Kitchen.
Texture
Texture is something you feel in, say, a fabric or a sculpture.
It’s also something that meets your eye. Especially in the brightness of sunshine.
Once upon a motors
There was a time when folks with fancy cars would get their tune ups on the far east side of the upper East side.
Don’t know if they’re still there, but E 73rd between York and the FDR was home to a couple of shops.
Notoriously difficult engines like Jaguars were their stock in trade.
