In a pickle

Is pickleball cooling? Today, on this cloudy Wednesday, cooler than it’s been in a while, I walk by the court in Carl Schurz Park. It’s empty. Almost. Only one court was taken.

The weather was conducive for a rugged match. Where were the players?
