Once upon a motors

There was a time when folks with fancy cars would get their tune ups on the far east side of the upper East side.

Don’t know if they’re still there, but E 73rd between York and the FDR was home to a couple of shops.

Notoriously difficult engines like Jaguars were their stock in trade.
